01. Project Overview
The Project
This project involved the complete redesign and rebranding of a mechanical engineering consulting company's website. The client requested a modern, fully responsive website that would enhance their digital presence and better reflect their professional identity.
The Problem
The original MMS Technology website faced several usability, credibility and design issues.
The lack of clear content and hierarchy makes it hard for user navigation and user friendliness.
The design is outdated and lacks various fundamental UI principles.
The website fails to reflect the company’s professionalism and business values, resulting in low trust from potential clients.
The content itself is also outdated and does not convey the full extent of what the company offer.
The Goal
The primary goal of the redesign had various objectives:
Help MMS Technology attract new clients by presenting a more professional and trustworthy online presence.
The business needed a website that clearly communicated their services, showcased their expertise, and make it easy for potential clients to navigate the site and get in touch.
The new design also aimed to improve the actual content and its structure, enhance mobile responsiveness, and include credibility-building elements.
Additional Problem Research
Problem Statement
Potential clients are business users who visit MMS Technology’s website to quickly understand the company’s services, assess credibility, and make contact. However, they struggle to find key information due to poor navigation, lack of content, and an outdated interface design. These users are often accessing the site from their offices or on mobile devices during the workday. The absence of clear service breakdowns, trust-building content, and accessible contact options makes the site frustrating to use and causes them to lose confidence in the brand. As a result, MMS misses valuable opportunities to generate leads and establish credibility in a competitive industry.
Research Goals
1
Outdated visual design and lacking brand credibility.
2
No clear navigation or service breakdown.
3
Website not mobile-optimized.
4
No social proof, lack of case studies, or call-to-action (CTA).
5
Poor contact methods — just an email address with no form or working number.
